| Description | A standard CHS bronze plug marked BM 1949, set in the concrete foundation of two coal storage elevators near the inshore end of the Grenfell Mission wharf. The plug is about 0.38 m inside of the most N'ly corner of the foundation. Note: Needs repair, the top half of the plug is missing. Benchmark elevation is accurate as of 2010, top half of plug was filled and levelled. Benchmark appears unstable (2019). |
