B.M. No. 04B9203 a CHS (agency) bronze tablet stamped 04B9203 set vertically into a large flat boulder on the breakwater on the north side of Belledune Harbour, N.B. It is 64 feet (19.5 metres) east of the east end of the conveyor tunnel building and 32.5 feet (11.3 metres) south of the northern edge of the breakwater. The BM is on the biggest and flattest boulder in the immediate area. The boulder is 7 feet ( 2.1 metres) in diameter. The BM is also horizontal control whose position is 47-54-46.735N and 65-50-28.540W (Datum is NAD83(CSRS)). NOTA BENE: The elevation of BM 04B9203 was determined by differential GPS positioning using BM 98B9000 (el. CD 5.489 metres) as the reference station. |
