CHS convex tablet stamped XX II ST HYD SURVEY E.ST-LAWRENCE P.W.C., set vertically on an iron monument on the shore of the St. Lawrence River, near the high water line, 0.4 km west of Montée Gédéon. To get there, from the church, drive eastbound about 3.5 km Marie-Victorin Street and go down Gédéon hill. Where the road ends, go 440.0 m west along the shore. This point is not accessible at high tide (looks like a leaning metal bomb and the same monument as marker 8623309). The marker is located 1.90 m from a beacon on an ash tree, 7.24 m from an ash tree with an SGQ marker and 6.55 m from another ash with an SGQ marker. |
