BM 3 is a CHS bronze tablet stamped BM 3-1960, cemented into bedrock 4.5 m from high water line. It is 13 m SW of BM 1 and is 23 m SW of BM 2 and .540 m below observation spot.
Note: Bench marks installed by Hydrographic Service in 1960 at Sugluk are sited on sloping rocks on the southwest point enclosing the bay on which is sited Sugluk settlement. The settlement is not visible from the bench marks which are 91 m to the southwest of the point from which the settlement is visible; and some 152m southwest of the observation spot. |
