| Description | Situated at the first cove west of the Hudson Bay Company wharf. It is embedded in a large grey granite boulder which is at the high water mark. This is the only conspicuous rock at the cove. It is marked Canadian Hydrographic Service No. 1-1956. This benchmark is still fixed to the rock but has undergone considerable decay, making some of the numbers difficult to interpret. GPS data was not collected on this benchmark due to trees that are growing above it. |
