A bronze tablet marked: Hydrographic Service Canada BM 5-1982, on the northwest shore of inner Spence Bay set in a large rock outcrop in the midst of a rocky jumble about 10 metres shorewards from an R.C.M.P. building with buff coloured horizontal siding (re-sided 1986) and next to a green coloured building. (Note: BM was installed in 1983). Location updated on 2019-11-05 based on 2012 GPS Field Log, previously 69.536194, 93.525527.
