| Description | On the spit which runs southwest from Kay Point at the tip of the hook formed at the end of the spit 9 m from the mean water line on the south side of the tip a piece of 25 mm angle iron driven vertically into the sand with 0.23 m exposed. Note: The tide gauge at Kay Point was tied to a network of BM's established in 1974 by GSC. These BM's are located at intervals along the entire length of the spit. |
