| Description | At Kitimat, west of the Alcan No. 2 wharf and west of a 5 metres by 10 metres concrete pad, 16 metres southwest of the northwest corner of the approach and 12 metres southwest of the western side of the wharf, set in a 1 metre granite bedrock outcropping, a bronze tablet marked: "Hydrographic Service, Canada, BM 1 1977". BM was burried in several metres of hardpacked plowed snow March 2012. |
