| Description | A C.H.S. bronze tablet stamped BM3 Gros Cap set vertically in rock surface at end of Highway 550, 16m northeast of northeast corner of gauge house. Benchmark set in base of rock approximately 6" below surface, marked by rebar set approximately 12" above benchmark. Coordinates and description updated based on 2022 field data, taken with a handheld GPS +/- 5m. May 2022 field inspection found benchmark stable with dents and scratches. |
